Paris Agreement - 2016
The sector table deals with six mobility themes, translated into the following building blocks: making passenger mobility sustainable, making the logistics sector more sustainable, zero emissions from sea, coastal and inland shipping and ports, sustainable GWW and sustainable public authorities, sustainable public transport, sustainable energy carriers and all these developments required loading and refueling infrastructure.
The actions for the logistics sector and shipping have a broader elaboration than in the Climate Agreement, because the logistics sector is important to Zeeland and shipping has a large share within the current regional CO2 emissions. Recreational shipping is also included. The use of zero-emission agricultural vehicles are also part of the Zeeland action program.
Finally, a number of specific Zeeland zero-emission start projects have also been appointed, with which Zeeland can realize its ambitions.
